BRIEF:

Create an interactive art installation for Hyper Island's Radiant Equilibrium exhibition. 

SOLUTION:

MusicaliTree - Our team designed and interactive tree that lit up when touched on the trunk and fruit that let you alter the music the tree was playing.  The crown of the tree was lit with LEDs powered by Arduinos and used sensors on the trunk to activate the lights.  Similarly, the hanging fruit were activated by touch and powered by Arduinos to help the visitor alter the accompanying music. 

ROLE:

Concept developer, product designer, and project management.

PROCESS:

The team shared roles and work collaboratively in order to have the full experience of creating our interactive installation.  We came to the MusicaliTree through using ideation tools and prototyping.  The final product came with over 3000 sheets of paper tissue many meters of LED strips.
